MCS will join two other Chinese schools to host this summer's Chinese Camp. The camp will be
held at Holmdel High School from 9 AM to 5 PM, 8/23 to 8/27. We are excited to have three cultural teachers from Taiwan. This camp will teach the students Chinese-yoyo, Chinese Kung-Fu, Taiwanese Folk Dance, and traditional craft & art, and other Chinese culture arts. We also have lots of fun group activities. The teaching in classrooms is mainly done in Mandarin, but each class will have English speaking TAs to help the students understand the instruction. This is a good opportunity to help your children get more exposure to spoken Chinese. A student performance will be on the last day (8/27)
in the afternoon to show the parents what the students have learned in the camp. This camp will be a memorable experience filled with culture, arts, fun and friends.
